At Assurah Marketing Agency (“Assurah,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), we are dedicated to providing high-quality digital marketing solutions designed to help businesses strengthen their online presence, generate qualified leads, increase brand awareness, and achieve sustainable growth. Our services may include, but are not limited to, search engine optimization (SEO), AI search optimization, paid advertising management, social media marketing, content marketing, website development, lead generation, consulting, and other customized digital marketing services.
We believe that successful business relationships are built on trust, transparency, communication, and mutual understanding. As part of our commitment to maintaining clear expectations with our clients, we have established this Refund Policy to explain how refunds are handled for the services we provide.
Because digital marketing services involve the allocation of professional expertise, strategic planning, research, software resources, creative development, and time-sensitive implementation efforts, many of our services begin generating costs immediately after a project is approved or payment is received. Unlike physical products that can be returned, digital marketing services often involve work that cannot be reversed, recovered, or resold once it has been performed.
For this reason, it is important that clients carefully review project proposals, service agreements, invoices, and this Refund Policy before purchasing any service from Assurah.
Acceptance of This Refund Policy
This Refund Policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds may be granted, partially granted, or declined for services purchased from Assurah.
By engaging our services, signing a service agreement, approving a proposal, accepting a quotation, submitting a payment, making a deposit, or otherwise entering into a business relationship with Assurah, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by this Refund Policy.
This policy applies to all clients, customers, businesses, organizations, and individuals who purchase services directly from Assurah through our website, sales representatives, proposals, invoices, contracts, subscription plans, or any other authorized payment method.
Clients acknowledge and agree that digital marketing outcomes can be influenced by numerous factors beyond Assurah’s control, including market conditions, competitor activities, search engine algorithm updates, advertising platform policies, consumer behavior, and other external variables. As a result, while we strive to deliver professional services and measurable improvements, specific business results cannot be guaranteed, and refund eligibility will be determined according to the terms outlined in this policy rather than the achievement of any particular marketing outcome.
By continuing to use our services after payment has been made or work has commenced, you confirm your ongoing acceptance of this Refund Policy and any future updates that may be published on this page.
Nature of Digital Marketing Services
Assurah provides a wide range of professional digital marketing services tailored to the unique goals, target audience, industry, and business requirements of each client. These services may include, but are not limited to, strategic marketing planning, market research, competitor analysis, search engine optimization (SEO), AI search optimization, paid advertising management, social media marketing, content creation, website design and development, lead generation campaigns, email marketing, analytics reporting, conversion rate optimization, branding, and other customized marketing solutions.
Unlike standardized products that can be physically returned or exchanged, digital marketing services are highly customized and involve the application of professional knowledge, specialized skills, creative efforts, and strategic expertise. Each project requires careful planning, consultation, research, implementation, monitoring, and ongoing optimization to achieve the best possible results for the client.
In many cases, work begins immediately after a project is approved, a contract is signed, or payment is received. Our team may allocate personnel, conduct research, develop strategies, create content, configure software tools, establish advertising accounts, perform technical audits, or initiate campaign setup activities shortly after project commencement. These efforts require significant investments of time, labor, software subscriptions, technology resources, and operational expenses.
Because these services are customized to the client’s specific business objectives and cannot typically be recovered, reused, or resold once performed, the value of the work often begins to accrue from the moment services are initiated. As a result, costs may be incurred by Assurah before any final deliverables are completed or visible outcomes are achieved.
Clients acknowledge and understand that digital marketing services are professional service engagements rather than the purchase of tangible goods. Consequently, refund eligibility is generally limited and will be assessed based on the amount of work completed, resources utilized, project status, and the specific terms outlined in this Refund Policy.
By purchasing any service from Assurah, clients recognize and accept that substantial effort, expertise, and operational resources may be invested from the outset of a project, which may affect the availability and amount of any potential refund.
Non-Refundable Services
Due to the customized, strategic, and labor-intensive nature of digital marketing services, certain services provided by Assurah are generally non-refundable once work has commenced, resources have been allocated, or deliverables have begun to be created. These services often require immediate investment of professional expertise, research, planning, software tools, creative development, and operational resources that cannot be recovered or repurposed after the work has been performed.
Unless expressly stated otherwise in a separate written agreement signed by both parties, the following services are considered non-refundable:
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) services
Local SEO services
AI Search Optimization services
Google Ads management and optimization services
Meta (Facebook and Instagram) Ads management services
Social media marketing and management services
Content marketing services
Lead generation services
Website design and development services after project commencement
Landing page design and development services
Email marketing services
Marketing consultation and advisory services
Digital marketing strategy development
Reputation management services
Analytics, tracking, and reporting services
Graphic design services after work has begun
Video editing, motion graphics, and creative production services after work has begun
Conversion rate optimization services
Technical SEO audits and website audits
Competitor research and market analysis projects
Branding and brand strategy services
Any custom digital marketing solution, campaign, strategy, creative asset, or service developed specifically for a client
These services are generally non-refundable because substantial work may begin immediately upon project approval, payment confirmation, or service activation. Activities such as research, strategic planning, account setup, campaign configuration, content creation, technical implementation, creative production, and resource allocation often occur before final deliverables are completed or visible results are achieved.
Furthermore, many of these services involve intellectual property, proprietary methodologies, customized recommendations, and specialized professional expertise that cannot be returned once delivered. Even where a project is partially completed, Assurah may have already incurred costs associated with employee time, contractor services, software subscriptions, advertising tools, technology platforms, administrative processing, and operational expenses.
Clients acknowledge and agree that dissatisfaction with subjective factors, including design preferences, marketing performance, search engine rankings, lead volume, traffic levels, advertising outcomes, or business results, does not automatically entitle them to a refund for non-refundable services.
Notwithstanding the above, Assurah reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to review exceptional circumstances on a case-by-case basis and determine whether any partial refund, account credit, or alternative resolution may be appropriate. Any such consideration shall not create an obligation for Assurah to provide similar accommodations in future cases.
Deposits and Advance Payments
To ensure the successful initiation and execution of client projects, Assurah may require certain upfront payments, including deposits, onboarding fees, setup fees, consultation fees, research fees, retainers, or advance payments before work begins. These payments enable us to allocate the necessary resources, personnel, technology, and expertise required to effectively plan and deliver our services.
Unless otherwise expressly stated in a written agreement, all upfront deposits, onboarding fees, setup fees, consultation fees, research fees, retainers, and advance payments are generally non-refundable. These fees are intended to compensate Assurah for the time, effort, and resources invested in preparing, organizing, and initiating a client’s project, many of which are incurred immediately upon project approval or service activation.
Such fees may include, but are not limited to, costs associated with:
Project discovery and initial planning
Business and industry research
Market and competitor analysis
Marketing strategy development
Campaign planning and preparation
Client onboarding processes
Internal team allocation and resource scheduling
Technical assessments and audits
Website reviews and optimization planning
Advertising account configuration and setup
Analytics and tracking implementation
Software licensing and subscription costs
Third-party tools and platform integrations
Administrative processing and documentation
Client communication and consultation sessions
Creative planning and content preparation
Because these activities involve the allocation of professional expertise and operational resources that cannot typically be recovered once utilized, such fees are earned upon commencement of the related work and are generally not eligible for refund, even if the client later chooses to cancel, postpone, suspend, or discontinue the project.
Clients acknowledge and agree that these payments are not merely reservations for future services but compensation for actual work performed and resources committed by Assurah. Consequently, requests for refunds of deposits, onboarding fees, setup fees, consultation fees, research fees, or advance payments will generally be declined unless otherwise required by applicable law or specifically agreed to in writing by Assurah.
In exceptional circumstances, Assurah may review refund requests on a case-by-case basis. Any decision to issue a partial refund, account credit, or alternative resolution shall be made solely at our discretion and shall not establish a precedent for future refund requests.
Refund Eligibility Before Work Begins
Assurah understands that circumstances may change after a client purchases a service. Therefore, under limited circumstances, a client may be eligible to request a refund before any substantial work has commenced on the project.
A refund request may be considered if all of the following conditions are satisfied:
Payment has been successfully received by Assurah.
No work has been initiated on the project.
No research, planning, consultation, strategy development, account setup, content creation, design work, campaign preparation, or other project-related activities have been performed.
The refund request is submitted within seven (7) calendar days from the date of payment.
No project resources, personnel, or third-party services have been allocated specifically for the client’s project.
For the purposes of this policy, “work commenced” may include, but is not limited to:
Initial project consultations
Discovery sessions
Market or competitor research
Strategic planning activities
Team assignment and project scheduling
Technical audits
Website reviews
Advertising account setup
Analytics configuration
Content planning
Creative brainstorming
Campaign development
Any other preparatory or implementation activities performed by Assurah on behalf of the client
Once any such work has begun, the project may no longer qualify for a full refund, as Assurah may have already incurred labor costs, operational expenses, software costs, and resource commitments associated with the project.
If a refund request meets the eligibility requirements and is approved by Assurah, the refund amount may be reduced to account for non-recoverable costs incurred during the payment and processing stages. These deductions may include, but are not limited to:
Payment gateway processing fees
Credit card processing fees
Banking charges
Currency conversion fees
Transaction costs
Administrative processing expenses
Applicable taxes or governmental charges where permitted by law
Refund requests must be submitted in writing through the contact information provided in this Refund Policy. Assurah reserves the right to review all refund requests and determine eligibility based on project records, communication history, payment information, and work logs.
Approval of a refund request remains subject to verification that no billable work has been performed and that all eligibility requirements have been satisfied. Any decision regarding refund approval shall be made at the sole discretion of Assurah, except where otherwise required by applicable law.
Refund Eligibility After Work Has Started
Once work on a project has commenced, refunds will generally not be available. Digital marketing services often involve the immediate allocation of professional expertise, strategic planning, research, creative development, software resources, and operational support. As a result, significant costs may be incurred by Assurah from the earliest stages of project execution, regardless of whether the final deliverables have been completed or specific marketing outcomes have been achieved.
Work may be considered to have commenced when Assurah begins any project-related activity, including but not limited to:
Project discovery and consultation sessions
Market and competitor research
Strategy development and campaign planning
Website audits and technical assessments
Content planning and creation
Search engine optimization implementation
Advertising account setup and configuration
Analytics and tracking setup
Graphic design or creative production
Website design and development activities
Lead generation campaign preparation
Team allocation and project scheduling
Any other service-related work performed on behalf of the client
Because these activities require the investment of time, expertise, and business resources, clients acknowledge that refund eligibility becomes significantly limited once work has begun.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, Assurah may, at its sole and absolute discretion, review refund requests on a case-by-case basis in exceptional circumstances. Any consideration of a partial refund does not constitute an obligation to provide a refund and will be evaluated based on the specific facts and circumstances of the project.
When assessing whether a partial refund may be appropriate, Assurah may consider factors including, but not limited to:
The percentage of project work already completed
The scope of services delivered to date
Resources allocated to the project
Time and labor invested by team members
Consultations, meetings, and strategy sessions conducted
Deliverables created, developed, or provided
Software, technology, and subscription costs incurred
Third-party expenses paid on behalf of the client
Administrative and operational costs associated with the project
The stage of project completion at the time the refund request is submitted
Where a refund is approved, the refund amount may be reduced proportionately to reflect the value of services already performed and the expenses incurred by Assurah. Any approved refund may also be subject to deductions for payment processing fees, banking charges, administrative costs, third-party service fees, and other non-recoverable expenses.
Clients understand and agree that completed work, partially completed work, strategic recommendations, research findings, creative assets, marketing plans, technical implementations, and other deliverables generated during the course of the engagement represent valuable professional services that may not be eligible for reimbursement.
Any decision regarding a partial refund shall be made solely by Assurah and shall not create a precedent or obligation to approve similar requests in future cases.
Monthly Marketing Services
Certain services offered by Assurah are provided on a recurring monthly basis and may require ongoing strategic planning, campaign management, optimization, monitoring, reporting, and client support. These services may include, but are not limited to, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Local SEO, AI Search Optimization, social media marketing and management, paid advertising management, lead generation services, content marketing, email marketing, reputation management, conversion rate optimization, and other recurring marketing services.
Because recurring services require continuous resource allocation, personnel involvement, software subscriptions, and ongoing operational support throughout each billing cycle, fees paid for the current billing period are generally non-refundable once the billing cycle has commenced.
Clients acknowledge and agree that monthly service fees compensate Assurah for reserving resources, performing ongoing work, maintaining campaign activities, and providing access to professional expertise during the applicable service period. As such, refunds will not be issued for services already scheduled, performed, or made available during the current billing cycle.
If a client chooses to cancel a recurring service, such cancellation will apply only to future billing periods and will not affect charges already incurred or payments already made for the current billing cycle. Clients remain responsible for all fees associated with services delivered, performed, initiated, or made available prior to the effective cancellation date.
Upon cancellation:
Future recurring charges will be discontinued in accordance with the applicable service agreement.
Current billing period charges will remain payable and non-refundable.
Services may continue until the end of the paid billing cycle unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Access to certain services, reports, accounts, deliverables, or ongoing support may be terminated upon the expiration of the service period.
No prorated refunds, partial-month refunds, or credits will be issued for any unused portion of a monthly service period, regardless of whether the client chooses to discontinue the service before the end of the billing cycle. This includes situations where the client elects not to utilize the service, delays participation, fails to provide required information, or otherwise chooses not to continue receiving the service during the remainder of the billing period.
Exceptions may be made only where required by applicable law or where otherwise expressly agreed to in writing by Assurah.
Clients are encouraged to provide advance notice of cancellation to ensure a smooth transition and avoid unnecessary future billing. Any cancellation requests must be submitted through the designated communication channels specified by Assurah and may be subject to notice requirements outlined in the applicable service agreement.
Advertising Spend
Many digital advertising campaigns managed by Assurah require advertising budgets to be paid directly to third-party advertising platforms. These funds are used to purchase advertising placements, impressions, clicks, views, leads, conversions, and other advertising services offered by external providers.
All advertising budgets, media spend, promotional credits, and advertising-related payments made to third-party platforms are strictly non-refundable. Once advertising funds have been deposited, allocated, spent, or charged by a third-party platform, Assurah has no authority or ability to recover, reverse, or refund those amounts.
This policy applies to advertising expenditures made through, but not limited to, the following platforms:
Google Ads
Meta Ads (Facebook and Instagram Ads)
LinkedIn Ads
YouTube Ads
TikTok Ads
Microsoft Advertising (Bing Ads)
X (formerly Twitter) Ads
Pinterest Ads
Snapchat Ads
Reddit Ads
Programmatic advertising networks
Display advertising networks
Affiliate advertising platforms
Any other third-party advertising or media-buying platform
Clients acknowledge and agree that advertising spend is separate from Assurah’s service fees. While Assurah may assist with campaign strategy, setup, management, optimization, and reporting, the advertising budget itself is paid to and controlled by the respective advertising platform.
As a result:
Advertising spend cannot be refunded by Assurah.
Unused advertising credits are subject to the policies of the applicable platform.
Charges incurred by third-party advertising networks remain the responsibility of the client.
Advertising performance does not affect the non-refundable status of advertising spend.
Campaign pauses, cancellations, or account closures do not automatically result in advertising refunds.
Assurah does not own, operate, or control third-party advertising platforms and therefore cannot guarantee, authorize, or influence refund decisions made by those providers. Any requests relating to advertising credits, billing disputes, account balances, promotional credits, charge reversals, or advertising refunds must be directed to the applicable platform and handled in accordance with that platform’s terms, conditions, billing policies, and refund procedures.
Clients further acknowledge that Assurah shall not be held responsible for any losses, charges, account restrictions, suspended campaigns, rejected advertisements, billing errors, policy violations, or refund decisions made by third-party advertising providers.
Where Assurah advances advertising expenses on behalf of a client or pays advertising charges using agency-managed accounts, such expenses shall remain fully payable by the client and are generally non-refundable once incurred, committed, or charged by the applicable advertising platform.
Website Design and Development Projects
Website design and development projects involve significant investments of time, technical expertise, creative effort, project management, software resources, and ongoing collaboration between Assurah and the client. Because each website is custom-built to meet the client’s unique business objectives, branding requirements, functionality needs, and user experience goals, refund eligibility for website-related services is subject to the conditions outlined below.
Before Design or Development Work Begins
A refund request submitted before any website-related work has commenced may be considered in accordance with the refund eligibility requirements outlined elsewhere in this Refund Policy.
For a refund request to qualify for consideration, no design, development, planning, consultation, wireframing, research, content preparation, technical assessment, project setup, or other project-related activities must have been performed by Assurah. Any approved refund may be subject to deductions for payment processing fees, banking charges, administrative costs, or other non-recoverable expenses incurred by Assurah.
After Design or Development Work Begins
Once website design, development, planning, or implementation activities have commenced, refunds are generally unavailable.
Website projects often require substantial investments in:
Project discovery and consultation
Website planning and architecture
User experience (UX) research
User interface (UI) design
Wireframing and prototyping
Graphic design and visual asset creation
Content structuring and optimization
Front-end and back-end development
Coding and custom functionality development
Testing and quality assurance
Project management and client communication
Software licensing and technical resources
Because these resources are committed specifically to the client’s project and cannot typically be recovered or reassigned once utilized, clients acknowledge that fees paid for website services become non-refundable after work has commenced.
The cancellation, postponement, suspension, or discontinuation of a project by the client does not automatically create an entitlement to a refund once website-related work has begun.
Milestone Deliverables
For projects structured around milestones, phases, or staged deliverables, payments associated with completed milestones are generally non-refundable once the corresponding work has been delivered, approved, or made available to the client.
If a project is terminated before completion, Assurah reserves the right to retain payment for all work completed up to the termination date and may invoice the client for any outstanding work performed but not yet billed.
After Project Delivery
No refunds shall be issued after the website project has been substantially completed, delivered, or transferred to the client.
This includes, but is not limited to, situations where:
Final project delivery has occurred
The website has been launched or published
Completed milestones have been approved by the client
Website files, source code, designs, databases, or project assets have been transferred to the client
Administrative access credentials have been provided
The client has taken possession or control of the completed website
The website has been migrated to the client’s hosting environment
Final revisions have been completed and accepted
Once a website has been delivered, launched, approved, or transferred, Assurah’s obligations regarding refund eligibility are considered fulfilled, and all related payments become final and non-refundable.
Client Responsibilities
Clients are encouraged to actively participate throughout the website development process by providing timely feedback, approvals, content, images, branding materials, and other required information. Delays resulting from a client’s failure to provide necessary materials or approvals shall not create grounds for a refund.
By engaging Assurah for website design or development services, clients acknowledge and agree that website projects involve customized professional services and intellectual property that are developed specifically for their business and therefore become increasingly non-refundable as work progresses.
Client Delays and Non-Responsiveness
The successful completion of any project requires timely collaboration and communication between Assurah and the client. In order to deliver services efficiently and within agreed timelines, clients may be required to provide information, approvals, content, assets, feedback, account access, and other materials necessary for project execution.
Refunds will not be issued for delays, interruptions, missed deadlines, reduced project progress, or project cancellations that result directly or indirectly from the client’s actions, omissions, or failure to fulfill their responsibilities.
This includes, but is not limited to:
Failure to provide required information, documentation, or account access
Failure to provide content, images, videos, branding materials, or other project assets
Delayed feedback, approvals, or decision-making
Repeated revision requests that significantly extend project timelines
Failure to respond to communications within a reasonable timeframe
Missed meetings, consultations, or scheduled project discussions
Extended periods of inactivity or non-participation by the client
Delays caused by changes in project requirements or scope requested by the client
Failure to complete tasks or actions assigned to the client
Any other circumstance where project progress is hindered due to the client’s lack of cooperation or responsiveness
Clients acknowledge that project timelines, campaign performance, service delivery schedules, and completion dates may be affected when required information, approvals, or resources are not provided in a timely manner. Such delays do not constitute a failure by Assurah to perform its obligations and therefore do not create grounds for a refund, chargeback, service credit, or payment reversal.
Project Inactivity
A project may be considered inactive if the client fails to respond to communications, provide requested materials, approve deliverables, or otherwise participate in the project for an extended period of time.
At its sole discretion, Assurah reserves the right to place inactive projects on hold in order to efficiently manage internal resources, personnel allocation, and project schedules.
Projects may be placed on hold when:
The client becomes unresponsive for an extended period
Required materials have not been provided
Pending approvals remain outstanding
Project progress cannot continue due to client inaction
Communication has ceased for a prolonged duration
Reactivation of Inactive Projects
If a project is placed on hold due to client inactivity, Assurah may require a project reactivation process before work resumes.
Depending on the circumstances, Assurah reserves the right to charge reasonable reactivation fees to cover:
Administrative processing
Project reassessment and review
Resource reallocation
Team rescheduling
Updated planning and strategy adjustments
Additional onboarding or setup requirements
The amount of any applicable reactivation fee will be communicated to the client before work resumes.
Extended Inactivity and Project Closure
In cases of prolonged inactivity, Assurah reserves the right to permanently close, archive, or terminate a project. Any payments previously made for services already performed, resources allocated, or work completed shall remain non-refundable.
The closure or termination of a project resulting from client inactivity does not relieve the client of any outstanding payment obligations and does not entitle the client to a refund of fees previously paid.
By engaging Assurah’s services, clients acknowledge the importance of maintaining timely communication and cooperation throughout the project lifecycle and accept responsibility for delays arising from their own actions or inaction.
Performance and Results Disclaimer
Assurah is committed to providing professional digital marketing services, strategic guidance, and industry best practices designed to help clients improve their online visibility, brand awareness, lead generation, customer acquisition, and overall business growth. However, digital marketing outcomes are influenced by numerous factors, many of which are beyond the control of Assurah.
Marketing performance can be affected by a wide variety of external variables, including but not limited to:
Industry competition and competitive market conditions
Changes in consumer demand and purchasing behavior
Search engine algorithm updates and ranking factors
Artificial intelligence search platform updates and policy changes
Advertising platform policies, algorithms, and bidding environments
Website quality, usability, and technical performance
Product-market fit and service-market fit
Brand reputation and customer perception
Pricing strategies and market positioning
Sales processes and internal business operations
Economic conditions and industry trends
Geographic and seasonal fluctuations
Client-provided content, assets, and information
Regulatory and legal changes affecting marketing activities
Actions taken by competitors
Third-party technology providers and platforms
Because these and other factors can significantly impact campaign performance, Assurah cannot guarantee specific marketing outcomes or business results.
Accordingly, Assurah does not guarantee:
Specific search engine rankings
First-page rankings on search engines
Specific website traffic levels
Specific lead generation volumes
Specific conversion rates
Specific sales revenue or profit increases
Specific return on investment (ROI)
Specific advertising performance metrics
Specific customer acquisition costs
Specific social media growth metrics
Specific engagement levels
Specific AI search visibility, citations, or recommendations
Specific placement within AI-powered search results
Any other measurable business, marketing, or financial outcome
Any projections, estimates, forecasts, case studies, examples, recommendations, performance benchmarks, or historical results provided by Assurah are for informational purposes only and should not be interpreted as guarantees of future performance.
While Assurah will make commercially reasonable efforts to implement effective strategies and optimize campaigns based on available data and industry best practices, clients acknowledge that no marketing agency can guarantee specific results due to the dynamic and constantly evolving nature of digital marketing platforms and consumer behavior.
Consequently, dissatisfaction with campaign performance, search rankings, website traffic, lead volume, sales results, return on investment, advertising outcomes, AI search visibility, or any other marketing metric shall not, by itself, constitute grounds for a refund, chargeback, cancellation of payment obligations, or other financial compensation.
By engaging Assurah’s services, clients acknowledge and accept the inherent uncertainties associated with digital marketing and agree that Assurah’s obligation is to provide professional services and expertise rather than guaranteed results.
Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
Assurah values open communication and encourages clients to contact us directly if they have any questions, concerns, billing issues, or disputes regarding our services. In most cases, concerns can be resolved quickly and professionally through direct discussion, allowing both parties to reach a fair and reasonable solution without the need for formal payment disputes.
Before initiating a chargeback, payment reversal request, bank dispute, credit card dispute, or any similar action through a financial institution, payment processor, or third-party payment provider, clients agree to make a good-faith effort to contact Assurah and provide us with a reasonable opportunity to review and address the matter.
Because digital marketing services often involve customized work, strategic planning, consultations, research, creative development, and other professional services that may not be immediately visible to the client, Assurah reserves the right to present evidence demonstrating the work performed and resources invested in the project.
If a chargeback, payment dispute, or payment reversal is initiated, Assurah reserves the right to take one or more of the following actions:
Immediately suspend ongoing services and project work
Pause active campaigns, marketing activities, or project deliverables
Restrict access to project files, reports, dashboards, websites, accounts, or other deliverables where legally permissible
Delay the release of completed work until the dispute is resolved
Revoke access to agency-owned tools, software, platforms, or resources
Terminate the service relationship where appropriate
Submit supporting documentation and evidence to the payment processor, bank, credit card provider, or dispute resolution authority
Such evidence may include, but is not limited to:
Signed agreements and contracts
Approved proposals and quotations
Invoices and payment records
Email correspondence and communication logs
Project management records
Time-tracking reports
Work logs and activity records
Campaign reports and analytics
Design drafts and creative assets
Website development progress records
Strategy documents and deliverables
Client approvals and feedback records
Clients acknowledge that initiating a chargeback does not automatically establish entitlement to a refund. Payment processors and financial institutions may review evidence submitted by both parties before reaching a final determination.
Where permitted by applicable law, Assurah reserves the right to recover additional costs arising from improper, fraudulent, or unjustified chargebacks, including:
Administrative expenses
Chargeback processing fees
Payment processor penalties
Collection costs
Legal fees and expenses
Professional advisory costs
Other reasonable costs incurred in responding to or defending against the dispute
If a chargeback is resolved in favor of Assurah, any outstanding balances, fees, costs, or unpaid invoices shall remain immediately due and payable.
Nothing in this section shall limit any legal rights or remedies available to Assurah under applicable law, contract, or equity. Assurah reserves all rights to pursue appropriate administrative, contractual, or legal action to recover unpaid amounts and protect its business interests.
Exceptional Circumstances
Assurah recognizes that unexpected situations and unique circumstances may occasionally arise that are not specifically addressed within this Refund Policy. While our refund guidelines are designed to ensure fairness, consistency, and transparency for all clients, we understand that certain situations may warrant individual review and consideration.
In exceptional circumstances, Assurah may, at its sole discretion, evaluate refund requests on a case-by-case basis and determine whether a refund, partial refund, service credit, alternative solution, or other accommodation may be appropriate. Such reviews will take into account the specific facts of the situation, the nature of the services purchased, the amount of work completed, resources allocated, expenses incurred, and any other relevant factors deemed appropriate by Assurah.
Examples of circumstances that may be considered during such a review include, but are not limited to:
Significant service interruptions caused directly by Assurah
Administrative or billing errors attributable to Assurah
Duplicate payments or accidental overpayments
Extraordinary events affecting project delivery
Situations where contractual obligations cannot reasonably be fulfilled
Other unique circumstances that Assurah determines warrant special consideration
The review of a refund request under exceptional circumstances does not guarantee that a refund will be granted. Any decision regarding eligibility, refund amount, service credit, or alternative resolution shall be made solely by Assurah based on the specific circumstances of the request.
Where a refund is approved under exceptional circumstances, Assurah may determine the amount of the refund after considering factors such as:
Services already rendered
Deliverables already provided
Time and labor invested
Third-party expenses incurred
Administrative and operational costs
Payment processing fees and transaction charges
Clients acknowledge and agree that any refund, credit, waiver, concession, or accommodation granted under exceptional circumstances is voluntary and does not establish a precedent, ongoing obligation, or entitlement for future requests.
Unless otherwise required by applicable law, the approval, denial, amount, and method of any refund granted under exceptional circumstances shall remain entirely within the sole and exclusive discretion of Assurah.
Nothing in this section shall be interpreted as creating a guarantee of a refund where one would not otherwise be available under this Refund Policy.
Refund Processing Time
If a refund request is approved by Assurah, we will make reasonable efforts to initiate the refund process promptly and efficiently. However, the time required for a refund to be completed and reflected in the client’s account may vary depending on the payment method used, the financial institutions involved, and the policies of third-party payment providers.
Once a refund has been approved, processing will typically begin within seven (7) to fourteen (14) business days, unless a different timeframe is communicated to the client. This processing period allows for internal verification, administrative review, accounting procedures, and coordination with applicable payment processors or financial institutions.
After the refund has been initiated by Assurah, the actual time required for funds to be received may depend on several factors, including:
The client’s bank or financial institution
Credit card issuer processing times
Payment gateway processing procedures
International banking systems
Currency conversion requirements
Payment method used for the original transaction
Weekends, public holidays, and banking holidays
Regulatory or compliance reviews conducted by financial institutions
Because these processes are managed by third parties outside of Assurah’s control, the actual receipt of refunded funds may take longer than the estimated processing period.
Clients acknowledge and agree that Assurah shall not be responsible for delays caused by:
Banks or financial institutions
Credit card companies
Payment processors and payment gateways
Currency conversion providers
Governmental or regulatory reviews
Technical issues affecting third-party payment systems
Any other circumstances beyond Assurah’s reasonable control
In the event that a client does not receive an approved refund within a reasonable period after processing has been completed, the client should first contact their financial institution or payment provider to verify the status of the transaction before contacting Assurah for additional assistance.
Approved refunds will generally be issued using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless otherwise required by law, restricted by the payment provider, or agreed upon in writing by both parties.
The approval of a refund does not guarantee immediate availability of funds, and Assurah makes no representations regarding the exact timeframe within which a bank, card issuer, or payment processor will complete the refund transaction.
Policy Modifications
Assurah reserves the right to update, amend, revise, modify, or replace this Refund Policy at any time and for any reason, without prior notice, to reflect changes in our business practices, service offerings, legal requirements, industry standards, operational procedures, or other relevant circumstances.
As our services, technologies, and business operations evolve, it may become necessary to update this Refund Policy to ensure that it remains accurate, comprehensive, and aligned with current practices. Any modifications may include changes to refund eligibility requirements, service-specific provisions, processing procedures, payment terms, dispute resolution processes, or other policy-related matters.
Unless otherwise expressly stated, all updates and revisions to this Refund Policy shall become effective immediately upon publication on this page. The “Last Updated” date displayed at the top of the policy will indicate the date on which the most recent changes became effective.
Clients are encouraged to review this Refund Policy periodically to stay informed about any updates or modifications that may affect their rights and obligations. It is the client’s responsibility to remain aware of the current version of this policy.
By continuing to access our website, engage our services, maintain an active account, approve proposals, make payments, or otherwise continue a business relationship with Assurah following the publication of any updates, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by the revised Refund Policy.
If a client does not agree with any modification to this Refund Policy, the client’s sole remedy is to discontinue the use of Assurah’s services, subject to any existing contractual obligations, payment commitments, or service agreements that remain in effect.
